Zombie enthusiasts are in for a treat this year, as Tubi has just released the official trailer for its upcoming horror film “Festival of the Living Dead.” Directed by the acclaimed Soska sisters, Jen and Sylvia, the movie promises to deliver a fresh and exciting take on the beloved undead genre.
Set over 50 years after the original zombie outbreak, “Festival of the Living Dead” follows Ash and her friends as they attend a morbid celebration of the historic event. However, their fun is quickly disrupted when a blast of radioactive space dust hits the festival, reanimating the dead and forcing the unsuspecting partygoers to defend themselves.
The trailer teases an impressive ensemble cast, including Ashley Moore of “I Know What You Did Last Summer” fame, Camren Bicondova from “Gotham,” and rising stars like Andre Anthony, Christian Rose, and the Bastidas sisters. With the Soska sisters at the helm, known for their unique and gritty approach to horror, fans can expect a thrilling, visually-stunning, and potentially subversive take on the zombie apocalypse.
“Festival of the Living Dead” is set to premiere exclusively on Tubi later this year, giving audiences a chance to experience the horror and humor of a zombie outbreak like never before. The trailer’s release has already generated significant buzz within the horror community, with many eager to see what the Soska sisters have in store.
Whether you’re a die-hard zombie enthusiast or simply enjoy a good scare, “Festival of the Living Dead” looks like it will be a must-watch for anyone with a taste for the macabre. Be sure to keep an eye out for the film’s release on Tubi and get ready to defend yourself against the living dead.
