Quentin Tarantino’s Blockbuster Comedy & More Prime Video Releases This Week

Amazon Prime Video’s new TV and movie releases for the week of September 21-27, 2026, include Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood.

Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood is a comedy-drama. The film chronicles the adventures of a fading actor named Rick Dalton and his stunt double Cliff Booth. They attempt to survive and recapture success in 1960s Los Angeles amid the constant changes in the entertainment industry. However, their mission is filled with unpredictable twists and turns. The film features Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt playing Rick and Cliff, respectively. Moreover, it features Margot Robbie, Emile Hirsch, Margaret Qualley, Timothy Olyphant, and many others in key roles.

The film received positive reviews and grossed over $393 million worldwide against a budget of $90–96 million. It also secured 10 Oscar nominations, winning Best Production Design and Best Supporting Actor for Pitt.

Also coming to Prime Video is the biographical sports drama, The Fire Inside. Directed by Rachel Morrison, the film focuses on the early boxing career of Claressa “T‑Rex” Shields. A boxer from Flint, Michigan, she became the first woman in the country’s history to win a gold medal in the sport at the Olympics. The star cast includes Ryan Destiny, Brian Tyree Henry, Oluniké Adeliyi, De’Adre Aziza, and Adam Clark in key roles. The film opened to positive reviews but failed at the box office.
