When high summer rolls out, my favorite thing do to in the city during the weekends isn’t go out to a rooftop bar with friends or frolic around Central Park— it’s to stay indoors, air conditioning blasting, and watch my comfort show: Gilmore Girls. While, sure, you can find me doing that same Sunday routine year-round, there’s something special about laying on your couch and vegging out, windows open so that you can feel the summer breeze.
Now that the temperatures are nearing their peak, I’m swapping my Sunday sweatpant OOTDs for lighter, breathable, comfier summer loungewear that looks (and feels!) good. Oversize boxer shorts, pointelle camisoles, and lacy baby tees are all on my agenda. Below, scroll to see 32 of the cutest, coziest summer loungewear staples you won’t want to miss out on. The best part? They’re all under-$50. Frankly, it doesn’t get better than that.
Trust me, the extra $2 are worth it for this TikTok-viral pair.
