As a NYC fashion editor, I’m always looking for New York-based brands to add to my wardrobe. La Ligne has long been on my radar. It started with their love for a good stripe; co-founders Molly Howard, Valerie Macaulay, and Meredith Melling have grown La Ligne into a destination for versatile everyday basics and wearibly statement pieces. So, when I learned of the Banana Republic X La Ligne collaboration, I was beyond ecstatic—I expect to see It girls and fashion people wearing the campaign all season long.
La Ligne’s modern view of wardrobe curation blends beautifully with Banana Republic’s design history. “For this collaboration, we wanted to honor that heritage through a La Ligne lens—our love of stripes and timeless design, our attention to detail, our insistence on quality, and our quest for joy,” said La Ligne’s Co-founders in the press release.
The campaign stars actress Zoey Deutch in a softly lit NYC apartment, wearing knits, blazers, and trousers from the 36-pollection. The collection aligns perfectly with fall 2026 trends, with oversized long-sleeve T-shirts, colorful stripes, and timeless trench coats at the helm. Each pieced designed with the person on the go in mind—which if I might add, second my prediction of fashion people wearing Banana Republic X La Ligne this fall. Scroll on for a look at Deutsch for the campaign, how fashion editors will be wearing the collaboration this season, and to shop the best of Banana Republic X La Ligne.

Fashion editors have already begun styling Banana Republic x La Ligne for fall, gravitating toward its knits, suedes, and outerwear. WWW’s shopping director, Bobby Schuessler, has much to say about this partnership: “I can’t get over this collab. The coats! The sweaters! The prints! It’s all divine. Every single piece will earn you compliments.” See how Schuessler styled the collaboration below.
