Your VMAs performance was stunning, and it’s been so great to see how much you’ve stepped into your own as an artist. What was your “I did it” moment, and what are you looking forward to in the next chapter?
Thank you! Performing at the VMAs was a dream come true. I felt really honored to share that stage with so many amazing artists. This whole tour has also been such a life-changing experience for me. We just played two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden and have another coming up. We also play the Kia Forum in Los Angeles this weekend. It’s all been very surreal. I’m really looking forward to continuing to connect with the incredible people who support me and come to my shows. Nothing beats the in-person connection.
You’ve flawlessly blended your love for dance with music in a way that appeals strongly to your Gen Z audience. What does this tour mean for you as an artist at this stage in your career?
This tour means so much to me as an artist. I’ve always dreamed of playing in arenas, so I just feel so grateful to be in these rooms every night. Looking back, it definitely took me a few years to crack the code on how to blend my dancing and singing together during my show, but it’s now starting to feel really seamless. I feel like I am in my flow. I am now always thinking about how I am going to perform a song live when I am writing it in the studio. It has made performing this last album so fun and truly so enjoyable every night.

The worlds of performing arts and beauty intersect in so many ways. What does that look like for you?
In order to perform my best, it’s important that I feel my best, so it is so crucial that I take care of both my mind and body while on tour. I really make an effort to carve out time each day for my skincare, as that is when I get to take a moment and truly ground myself. I am also so grateful for my makeup artist on tour, who has worked with me to implement self-care into my glam routine.
With a lot of time on the road for the American leg of your tour, how are you practicing self-care through daily beauty rituals? Do you have any tips/tricks you’ve learned so far?
When I’m on tour, I make sure to prioritize time for skincare. My skin can get dry with so much traveling, so when I’m on tour, I make sure to stay on top of keeping my skin hydrated and extra moisturized. I love my red-light face mask too!

All the time you spend performing onstage, rehearsing, and traveling must take a toll on your skin. How do you keep it feeling and looking its best while always on the go?
My tour routine is pretty simple. I use Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Gel Cleanser to keep my skin refreshed and hydrated, and then I use the Hydro Boost Water Gel to keep it moisturized.
