The HBO Original Series, The Nevers originally aired on HBO Max, with the first episode premiering on April 11, 2021.
The series, created by Joss Whedon, told the story of a group of Victoria women with unusual abilities.
Below is an official synopsis.
Synopsis: In the last years of Victoria’s reign, London is beset by the “Touched”: people – mostly women – who suddenly manifest abnormal abilities – some charming, some very disturbing. Among them are Amalia True (Laura Donnelly), a mysterious, quick-fisted widow, and Penance Adair (Ann Skelly), a brilliant young inventor. They are the champions of this new underclass, making a home for the Touched while fighting the forces of… well, pretty much all the forces – to make room for those for whom history, as we know it, has no place.
The first season of The Nevers was initially scheduled to air its original twelve episodes in two, six-episode parts, but after the first six episodes aired, HBO Max decided to pull the plug on the period piece. As a result, the remaining six episodes remained unaired, that is until now.
Tubi has announced that they have acquired the HBO Max series The Nevers and will be airing the original six episodes of The Nevers, along with the unreleased final six episodes of the series on its Brand New WB TV Watchlist FAST Channel.
