It’s been a wild 24 hours in the Big Brother house.
First, Lauren’s laughably bad reign as Head of Household ended with Adrian’s eviction.
Then, Riley was crowned the fourth HOH of Big Brother Season 27… only for Mickey to snatch the title away after activating her secret power.
The season had been feeling a little stagnant, so Mickey’s move sent shockwaves through the house — especially for the players who had no clue her power even existed.
The drama over the last day has set the stage for a potentially explosive Sunday episode.
Will Mickey Get Revenge on Riley?
Riley had been planning to nominate Mickey alongside her allies Ashley and Morgan, so the big question was whether Mickey would use her newfound power to serve up some revenge.
If she wanted to play it safe, she could have gone with the predictable route — Keanu, Kelley, and Will — a tired repeat of past nomination patterns.
But Mickey doesn’t strike us as someone looking for a boring week. She knows she was likely at the top of Riley’s target list, and that knowledge could easily push her in his direction.
She even revealed on Friday morning that Riley screamed at her and called her a liar after she snatched his HOH reign away.
Sure, he’d just spent hours in a grueling competition, but did he forget that every word could be used against him when the nomination keys came out?
Big Brother Season 27 Is Getting Good
Ashley wasn’t exactly keeping a low profile either — she laughed Friday morning while confirming that Riley had pegged her as the Secret HOH. Could that be a $750,000 mistake?
So, when the dust settled, Mickey nominated Keanu, Kelley, and Riley for eviction.
The picks aren’t exactly shocking given the week’s events, but credit where it’s due: she’s making a move to split up a duo early.
This season’s been playing out at a slower pace thanks to the Big Brother Block Buster competition, so it’s refreshing to see someone willing to shake things up.
Of course, the week is far from over. The Power of Veto could still change everything when the nominees, the HOH, and two other players battle it out on Saturday.
