Sleep Token’s New Album Is Out + Twitter Is All

Sleep Token‘s highly anticipated third album, Take Me Back to Eden, is out now and the reactions and tears are pouring out on Twitter because this album has stirred up a lot of emotion in fans.

During the first week of this year, the mysterious group fronted by the figure known only as Vessel, released back-to-back singles, “Chokehold” and “The Summoning,” which blew up the internet. Sleep Token went legitimately viral with “The Summoning” claiming the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s Viral 50 chart a month after its release. Success continued to snowball and before February was over, four of the band’s five singles all occupied spots in that same playlist.

Sleep Token’s sound is unlike anything else currently in rock and metal, leaning heavily on silky smooth R&B and pop dynamics, countered by the metallic crunch over downtuned guitars that shatter the still and swallow the light. Lyrically, Take Me Back to Eden is tender, pensive and philosophical, which fans are sure to be discussing the meanings and significance for years to come.

So let’s dive into all the reactions!
