‘Witchboard’ Remake Brings Back ‘Dream Warriors’ Director

The good people at Variety were given some amazing news today. Gravitas Ventures managed to secure the rights to the upcoming horror comedy Slotherhouse. Not only that, but fans won’t have to wait long for this amazing mash-up

Slotherhouse will be released on August 30, 2023. The film will be brought to us by Iconic Events. Those that may be excited about this upcoming release will be pleased to know that Variety was able to offer up some juicy quotes from the people behind the film.

“’Slotherhouse’ is a movie that embodies the reckless abandon genre films can bring to the table. It scratches the sloth itch we didn’t know we had! Our team is thrilled to work on a project that really goes for it, claws and all,” said Nick Royak of Iconic Events Releasing.

“‘Slotherhouse’ was inspired by iconic cinema with a dedication to practical effects. It’s an homage to our favorite creature features and slashers with a FURocious horror icon for the modern world. ‘Slotherhouse’ is simply bonkers” said Lanigan.

This film is directed by the amazing Matthew Goodhue (Woe) alongside writers Bradley Fowler (The Voices) and Cady Lanigan (Fan-0-Rama).

Slotherhouse will star Lisa Ambalavanar (The Stuff of Legends), Stefan Kapicic (Deadpool), and Olivia Rouyre (American Horror Stories).
