I don’t mean to oversell this but #TheyClonedTyrone is in my top 5 movies of 2023. It’s so fun, so chaotic, so smart and a great callback to the strength of blaxploitation. I highly recommend going in with as little info as possible. pic.twitter.com/EPnDOAwRL3

#TheyClonedTyrone was genius. the nuances, the symbolism, the visuals. it was a black ass movie that used black ass things to describe our own complacency in our own demise. from the perm, to the music, to the dam food. made for us, by us. i loved it.

#TheyClonedTyrone is a instant cult classic for me. Off-beat dark comedy with a message behind it. I thought it was perfectly paced & overall great storytelling. It kinda reminded me of “Sorry To Bother You”. I like this genre of black cinema.
