1408 was directed by Mikael Håfström. It was adapted for the screen by Matt Greenberg, Scott Alexander, and Larry Karaszewski. It’s based on a Stephen King short story of the same name. The movie stars John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson, Mary McCormack, Tony Shalhoub, and Isiah Whitlock Jr.
This film has plenty of fans shouting from the rooftops that this is John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson at their best. They also feel that this is an underrated horror gem.
