Today marks the theatrical release date of Frank and Penelope, a violent new romance with an Americana spin. Think Lana Del Rey’s music meets Quinten Tarantino’s sense of charm and brutality. To celebrate this unique film’s release, we sat down with its director Sean Patrick Flanery who also appears in the project. Check out our video conversation below.
Flanery’s outrageous new road film revolves around Frank, a man down on his luck who meets Penelope, a stripper with mysterious intentions. They soon fall madly in love and find themselves road tripping into the American West where they encounter a terrifying cult self-named the Table of Truth. This is is a violent and exciting ride; a must watch for fans of horror and blistering romance.
