Taylor Swift has “never been happier” by her own admission, and is willing to be much more in the public eye—and the paparazzi’s lens—than she has been in over five years. After performing in Foxborough, Massachusetts over the weekend, Swift returned to her adopted hometown of New York City. Photographers captured her out in Greenwich Village today, dressed in a polished, casual look ideal for the late spring weather.
Swift paired a R13 white button-down with the brand’s crossover jean shorts. She accessorized with a tan Ralph Lauren bag, A.Emery sandals, and hoop earrings. Swift stuck to her signature Eras tour hairstyle, wearing her blonde hair down. Her rumored new boyfriend Matty Healy was not photographed with her.
Onstage on Saturday night, Swift confessed that she feels like she understands the course of her life more. “I don’t know, I’ve just never been this happy in my life in all aspects of my life ever before,” she said before playing “Question…?” for the crowd. “And I just want to thank you for being a part of that. I don’t know. It’s not just the tour. My life finally feels like it makes sense.”
That same weekend, a source close to Healy offered new intel on their relationship to The Messenger: “[Healy] and Taylor have been friends for years and reconnected,” the source said. “They had talked about working on music together years ago, but reunited through mutual friends.”
After that reunion, “things moved very quickly and she was swept off her feet,” the source continued, saying Healy has met Swift’s family. “They have been inseparable. [He] fits right in as if they have been dating for years.”
Swift has yet to directly comment on the rumored relationship herself. A fan revealed Healy confirmed he and Swift were dating when asked by her and a group of fans at one of Swift’s Philadelphia concerts.
