On Friday, June 23, Kourtney Kardashian shared a shot of her growing baby bump and a few more of her day at the pool with her kids. The reality TV star wore a rich green string bikini that highlighted her current curvaceous figure, and a pair of black sunglasses.
She captioned the images “Sweet Summer” along with a number of fruit emojis the same color as her swimsuit. In the carousel were pictures of her glamorous villa and gorgeous pool, along with her kids playing with swim toys.
And a full body shot of course:
Kardashian and husband Travis Barker have been very open about their journey towards having a child together. She announced she was expecting during a Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles last week by holding up a sign in the audience that read “Travis I’m Pregnant” a reference to his band’s 1999 music video “All The Small Things.”
Soon after, Kardashian posted a carousel of photos from the night as she worked on her sign and her husband caressed and kissed her growing bump. She wrote in the caption, “Overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for God’s blessing and plan.”
In the comments, Barker added, “God is great.”
They each have children from previous relationships, making this baby number seven in their combined family. Kardashian shares 13-year-old Mason, 10-year-old Penelope Disick, and eight-year-old Reign with her ex, Scott Disick. Barker has two children with his ex Shanna Moakler, 19-year-old Landon and 17-year-old Alabama, and is the stepfather to Moakler’s daughter from a previous relationship, Atiana De La Hoya.
The couple stopped the IVF process in 2022 after The Kardashians star said it was too stressful on her body and that her frozen embryos did not thaw properly.
“People do it thinking that it’s like a safety net and it’s not,” she said in a May episode of her hit Hulu show.
“We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us,” she went on in a confessional. “If that’s a baby, then I believe that it will happen. Being happy is most important, and being a good parent to my kids.”
But they did want children together.
“I would love two [more kids], in a dream world,” she said last year. “And we each have three—so six, seven, eight.”
