OnlyFans star Annie Knight is breaking down the reason why she’s losing money each month.
“I’m currently losing $10,000 per month from my income simply because the U.S. dollar is not very good right now,” Knight said in an Instagram video on Monday, February 16.
Knight explained that the general conversion rate of USD to AUD is $1 to $1.50 and now is about $1 to $1.41. Knight shared that this is the “lowest” it’s been in “such a long time.”
“I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty upset when I realized how much money I was losing,” she said. “I started to notice that when my payouts were arriving in my account and they were a couple of $100 to a couple $1,000 less than what I thought they were going to be, and I was like, ‘This is not making sense.’”
She continued, “I looked up the conversion rate, and sure enough, it had dropped, and it keeps continuing to drop. It’s actually wild how much, like, currency changes can impact our pay. … I definitely can say that this is the biggest hit that I’ve taken so far. I can’t remember a time when it was this low. I feel like it’s the lowest it’s been.”
Knight noted that when the conversion rate of USD to AUD is $1 to $1.66, it is “so good,” but noted there’s drawbacks.
“The reality is that obviously, when it’s $1.66 it means that the Australian dollar is weaker, which is bad for the Australian economy, but for OnlyFans creators in Australia, it’s better when the Australian dollar is weaker and the U.S. dollar is stronger,” she explained. “Not many people really think about this, but I do find it a little bit frustrating that even though it’s an American website, we can’t get paid in the currency of the country that we’re in.”
She continued, “I understand why. I guess it would be too difficult to facilitate, but it is just one of those things that’s so frustrating because $10,000 is a lot of money. I mean, that’s most people’s — more than most people’s — monthly salary. And that’s just how much I’m losing from the exchange rate.”
Knight, who is engaged to fiancé Henry Brayshaw, shared that it’s “crazy how much people underestimate how financial complex it is to be a creator.” Knight explained that she would continue to track the market and exchange rate but noted it’s “a little bit concerning.”
“Fingers crossed, let’s manifest a $1.70 exchange rate,” she said.
Knight, who famously slept with 583 men in six hours in 2025, has been candid about her finances. (The OnlyFans star was hospitalized after the event but has assured Us Weekly that “everything is a lot better now.”)
Days after the event, Knight told Us that she was making around $200,000 per month and owns four homes. One month later, Knight saw an increase in her income.
“My earnings have tripled since doing the event,” Knight exclusively told in June 2025. “It’s been pretty amazing.”
In August 2025, Knight shared that her income fluctuated — which is something she expected.
“The month of the challenge, it was about $600,000,” Knight exclusively told Us at the time. “Now it’s pretty consistently been $450,000 a month.”
She continued, “So, obviously, that’s one of the things that you can expect because when you get a lot of media, a lot of press, it does go up a little bit. It’s always going to come back down. But as long as you can keep it consistent, then that’s the main thing.”
